Ashley's wild life in suburbia...we make 5!!: SNOW SNOW SNOW…..

1/25/11OK, so Tuesday morning the weather man on the 5 am segment said a light dusting in the AM, and a few inches in the evening.

Come 11:00am news, Mr. Weatherman said, so a bit more than a few inches, 4- 8 inches to be exact…..wow…good estimate…that’s a LARGE 4 inch difference!!

Come 2:00pm….the girls and I walk into the grocery store, and meet Pat Collins…a GREAT newscaster. He is known for his stick measuring the snow. Obviously inches mean something to him when he carries a yard stick! Anyways, the girls and I got interviewed…he is so funny! Although we didn’t make it on TV, the car did!!!!! Hehehe!! Well we walk about of the grocery store and find out that it is raining. Come 3:00...its raining…OK weather man…RAIN! Where is this 4 - 8 inches???!?!?!?!?!

Come 3:20.…sleeting! WOW….its coming down fast! The roads are now seriously icy with the large temperature drop.

Come 3:30, SNOW! Ok Mr. Weatherman, you got it right…now just have to see if we are getting 4 inches or 8 inches.

Come 8:00...Rob wants to shovel the driveway, to have the best looking driveway. I guess it’s a guy thing! Best part is…I didn’t have to do it! I’m Prego….boy I could live this excuse! I might milk it a bit….ssshhh….girls don’t let him know it…its totally against the girl code! Anyways…this looked like 8 inches, and still snowing! The girls went out to “help”…mostly they built a snowman, had a snowball fight, and had a blast!

Come 1:00am….stopped snowing…I would say we have between 9 - 10 inches….way to go Mr. Weatherman! You nailed that one on the head! Yeah, we got snow…but not the estimated amount. At least Rob is happy with his trucks out working, and a happy Rob is a very very happy household, especially when we you are stuck inside for a while. Note to self….jump on the man cave, so I can send him there when there is an unhappy rob!

Come 8:00am Wednesday, mission accomplished, we have the cleanest driveway. I guess Rob showed off more of his many talents. A shovel, some time spent out in the snow, and a few bags of ice does wonders! Thank you honey! You are the best! We still have the best looking driveway!
