SONOGRAM!!!
It happened today!!!!! Baby Mendez is a fickle one. The baby didn’t want to get the picture taken and kept putting his hand over his eyes L Listen here buddy…this is momma talking….I want to see your face…move your hand NOW! Finally after much pushing and poking with my tummy we got the shot…not a good one, but we got one. Of course it was of the face only since we are not finding out the sex. This baby is a moving little thing, which would be his side, but covering the face being a brat…..OH!! this is totally my kid!!! I see the DNA already! I was a bit sore after walking out since I have one thing inside kicking my insides and the ultra sound wand pushing on the outside trying to get a picture. Can we say only a Klondike bar would make me feel better….are we there yet!!???!?!?!?! I want my freezer with ice cream!!
What a neat experience though to see the baby on the screen knowing how he’s doing, what he is doing, etc. He is face down, facing my tush….great view buddy!! It used to be a whole lot cuter until you came along! Don’t worry momma will have it back one day!
I have to go back again, February 22nd to be exact, for another check up and sonogram. They could not see everything they wanted, so ill see you on TV again Baby Mendez on 4 weeks!
Ok here comes the rant….I’m not sure how much this will stir…but it doesn’t bother me. I was mad with the doctor!!! Rob and I have one unique relationship…although I can not explain it, nor am I going to try….it works, and it works well. It works well than some marriages I know!!! Anyways, I met a new doctor in the practice…needless to say I think I have the BEST OBGYN ever! She is amazing, but told me to meet some other doctors. So here is Dr. M…older man with a serious eye brow problem!
Anyways, let’s get past the eyebrows for a second…I think I can do that! YUCK! He hardly said one word about how the baby looked on the screen, or anything about the baby. He wanted to know about my relationship with Rob. Since when does a doctor need to get involved with my personal life. The only thing I need from you is to deliver me a healthy happy baby and make sure I am ok also, but first and foremost make sure my baby is ok. But…nnnoooo….we cant talk about the baby….we need to talk about who, what, where, when, and why about my relationship. I know everyone has their opinion, and when I ask for it, bring it on…..until then DOC…give me a healthy baby! So anyways, he measure my tummy…measuring average, at 20 centimeters from belly button to no no bone! I guess he wanted to be funny…because he said this is average for a woman carrying one baby….if you were carrying two then you would have a bigger stomach….OMG…NO WAY SHERLOCK!!! He is a genius! Ok…note to self….get away from me and baby Mendez. I will keep this baby in for another doctor! Heard of locking it at the knees? I’m going to try that if this Dr is on call…..
Ok so my rant is over…until the next appt!
